Investors' Angels Announces First Banking Partnership

April 5, 2026 4 min read Investors' Angels Editorial

Investors' Angels is pleased to announce the launch of its first Mortgage Partnership Program with a participating banking institution in the United Arab Emirates.

The partnership represents an important milestone in the development of the Investors' Angels ecosystem, connecting homeowners, investors, brokers and banks through a single Lease-to-Own platform.

The objective is simple. Help more families become mortgage-ready while creating stronger long-term relationships between customers and participating banks.

01

Building relationships before the mortgage application.

Traditionally, a bank's relationship with a mortgage customer begins when the customer submits a mortgage application.

Our model begins years earlier.

Customers participating in the Lease-to-Own program may choose to conduct their monthly program payments through a participating partner bank throughout the duration of the Lease-to-Own Agreement.

This allows the bank to establish a long-term banking relationship while the customer gradually prepares for future homeownership.

02

A new approach to mortgage preparation.

Instead of evaluating customers only at the moment they apply for financing, participating banks gain access to years of documented financial behaviour.

Throughout the Lease-to-Own program, customers demonstrate:

  • consistent monthly housing payments;
  • verified affordability;
  • financial discipline;
  • long-term commitment to a specific property.

This creates a stronger foundation for future mortgage assessment.

03

Mortgage Partnership Letter.

As part of the program, participating banks may issue eligible customers with a Mortgage Partnership Letter.

The letter confirms that, subject to the bank's lending policies and the customer's continued eligibility at the time of application, the bank intends to give priority consideration to the customer's future mortgage application.

The letter is not a mortgage approval or a guarantee of financing.

It gives customers confidence that they are following a structured pathway toward mortgage eligibility.

04

Better information for better lending decisions.

When customers successfully complete their Lease-to-Own journey, participating banks may receive a comprehensive Mortgage Readiness Report prepared by Investors' Angels.

The report may include:

  • verified customer information;
  • household income history;
  • Purchase Option Balance;
  • payment history;
  • Customer Commitment Ratio;
  • property information;
  • Lease-to-Own performance summary.

This additional information helps create a more complete picture of the customer's long-term financial behaviour.

05

A stronger experience for customers.

The partnership provides customers with several important benefits.

They establish a banking relationship from the beginning of their homeownership journey.

Their monthly Lease-to-Own payments create a documented financial history that may benefit their future mortgage application, rather than a single snapshot of their finances.

Most importantly, customers gain greater confidence that their journey toward homeownership is supported from the very beginning.

06

Strengthening the Investors' Angels ecosystem.

The Mortgage Partnership Program expands the Investors' Angels platform beyond Lease-to-Own.

It creates closer collaboration between:

  • homeowners;
  • investors;
  • real estate brokers;
  • banks.

Each participant contributes to the same objective—helping customers successfully become homeowners.

07

Looking ahead.

This first banking partnership marks the beginning of a broader strategy to establish relationships with leading financial institutions across the UAE and internationally.

As additional banks join the Mortgage Partnership Program, customers will benefit from greater choice, stronger competition and an increasingly seamless transition from Lease-to-Own to traditional mortgage financing.

We believe homeownership should not begin with uncertainty.

It should begin with partnership.
